Salsa Anyone?

It's Friday and I'm in the mood to dance. When I was a young girl, I'd go to parties on the weekends with my parents and watched all the adults dance like this. I'd memorize all the moves and then go home and practice them with my father. My father was a fabulous dancer and loved dancing with his little girl. So here's "my girl" doing her thing. Oh, and that move where she comes to a dead stop-- no one did that better than my father!

About time somebody around this goddam place decided to live life instead of talk about it!

Ummmm... they're moving their hips. Are they allowed to do that?

I'd love to. I've got the hips. The rhythm? Not so much.

Dear Anon.

I'm wounded.

Now shut up and dance, fat ass.

Who took down my comment asking the one with the long hair and hips to dance?

Must have been the Eskimo, man.

I hate deleted comments. Always the wonder of what I missed...

Salsa, jig, square dancing, hula, let it all hang out! It's Friday at the Hive. Almost time to bring out the Rioja, I say.

What you missed, baby, was the time of your life.

That's right, chica, you change into something more comfortable while I make some sangria.

Drifter said...

Heard a few old friends might be around.

Don't mind them Tom. Once Blue and the Trail Guy get going, it's best to let 'em go and enjoy the show.

Tom Manoff said...

Drifter. You know these people? A helpful hand in a troubled time? Why yes. I take it, and thanks good soul. You've seen many things in this life, yes? I hear that in your voice.

Chica. It's Stokowski. Can you dig it?

GirlfromtheBronx said...

Hey, Anonymous, who are you hitting on? Hilary, Drifter or Donnerpass?

GirlfromtheBronx said...

Tom,
Stowkoski, my foot! It looks like a friend of ours who works at Lithia actually!

Anonymous said...

Hey, Manoff. Aren't you in enough trouble talking about train horns in Principio? Now you're going after the conductors? Guess there's a certain symmetry in that. Who am I hitting on, chica? As if you didn't know.

Tom Manoff said...

Anon, anon, anon.

They say that conductors live long lives because they are using their arms. I'm barely holding up my head in that picture. How can I keep up with Chica like that?

I hear that in some parts of the country people are seeing Mean Guy. I can't. Recycle please, blogger program. I don't want to miss it.

GirlfromtheBronx said...

You know what they say:
Don't keep a girl guessing too long, she's sure to find the answer somewhere else.

I have to take a break. All this dancing and partying has made me ravenous and I haven't eaten all day. I shall return.

Tom Manoff said...

I really wish I could have Antepilani's picture for a day.

GirlfromtheBronx said...

Mansky, we link you, pic or no pic! You're my numero uno!

Anonymous said...

Yeah, chica. But I been watching. He goes to bed early!

GirlfromtheBronx said...

You've got eyes in back of your no pic, anon! Shhh! or you'll wake him up.

Drifter said...

Good to see you around again Old Guy. How them trails treating you? Tough winter. Was glad for the thaw.

I've seen some things here and there Tom. Nothing like the old guy. His mark's on many a trail.

This Anon fellow's a bit of a mush talker, eh? And an eskimo from the Peg? Quite the jungle we've got here.
